Overview

This is where you will write a short paragraph describing the celebrity or company you have chosen. Make sure to include:

  • # of Facebook likes
  • Facebook URL
  • # of Twitter followers/# of Twitter users the celebrity/company follows
  • # of Tweets
  • Date the celebrity/company joined Twitter
  • Twitter username

Analysis

Facebook – in a few paragraphs, describe the content of the Facebook page. Describe and analyze the profile pic and cover image. What kind of information is included under the “about” tab? What are the most popular timeline posts? Do posts contain pictures? Videos? Links to articles? Are posts created by the celebrity/company, or are they reposts? Aside from posts, what other content is included on the Facebook page? Does the “page” like other Facebook pages? Make sure to analyze what is done well, and what can be improved.

Also weave information about the Audience Interaction into your analysis. Does the audience participate? Look at the five most recent Facebook posts and the number/kind of comments. Are they positive? Negative?

Twitter – in a few paragraphs, describe the content of the Twitter profile. Describe and analyze the profile pic and banner image. What kind of information is included in the bio? What are the most popular tweets? Do tweets contain pictures? Videos? Both? Are tweets written by the celebrity/company, or are they retweets?  Make sure to analyze what is done well, and what can be improved.

Also weave information about the Audience Interaction into your analysis. Do people tweet to the celebrity/company, or retweet their tweets? Does the celebrity/company respond to all direct tweets? Or only to certain people/companies? Whose tweets/what kind of tweets do they retweet? Are they positive? Negative?

Instagram – in a few paragraphs, describe the content of the Instagram profile. Describe and analyze the profile pic. What kind of information is included in the bio? What are the most popular photos? Videos? Make sure to analyze what is done well, and what can be improved.

Also weave information about the Audience Interaction into your analysis. Does the audience participate? Look at the five most recent Instagram posts and the number/kind of comments. Are they positive? Negative?
