Costa Rica Trip 2019

This past June, my girlfriend and I went to Costa Rica and it was truly one of the best experiences of my life. Costa Rica had so much to offer from the beaches to hiking and waterfalls we were able to swim in. We were able to see all different kinds of nature from tropical plants to interesting animals I had never seen before such as jaguars and poisonous frogs- you can’t find these animals in New England!

We stayed at a resort called Dreams Las Mareas. It was a beautiful resort located in Guanacaste, Costa Rica which is on the western coast of the country. It was an all inclusive that had many different restaurants to choose from. Our personal favorite was the Italian restaurant because the food was absolutely amazing!

We had so many amazing experiences while visiting this beautiful country. One day we would be relaxing on the beach with a drink in our hands and the next we were hiking in a rainforest and zip lining through the trees. While I loved ziplining through the rainforest and jetskiing on the Pacific ocean, one of my favorite experiences would have to be hiking to the Llanos de Cortes waterfall, which is about 40 feet tall. We were able to swim in the naturally warm water and explore the land around the falls. In addition to these incredible qualities, the views were absolutely breathtaking. It was one of the highlights of our trip.

Being able to see all of the uniquely different natural wonders of Costa Rica was more than I could have ever asked for from this trip. Traveling is one of my favorite things to do and being able to experience this beautiful country in all its glory with great company was one of the most fulfilling and exciting experiences of my life.
